How to find mosques along your route on a road trip
In NearMasjid, open the Mosques tab and tap Plan Route. Enter where you start and where you’re going (a place name or postcode), choose a 1, 2 or 5 km corridor, and tap Find Mosques. You get every mosque along the drive in order from your start, with how far each one sits off the road.
Plan your stops before you leave
- Open NearMasjid and go to the Mosques tab.
- Tap Plan Route at the bottom of the screen.
- Set From and To. Use a town, place or postcode.
- Pick a corridor: 1, 2 or 5 km either side of the road.
- Tap Find Mosques.
The results list runs from your start to your destination. Each mosque shows how far it sits off the road and how far it is from the start, so you can match stops to prayer times.
Example: Windsor to Manchester
A drive from Windsor to Manchester runs up the M40 and M6. Plan Route lists the mosques along that route in order, starting near Windsor and Slough, then on through the Midlands and the north-west. Tap any of them to see facilities such as a women’s prayer space, and today’s prayer times.
Tips for long journeys
- Check facilities if you are travelling with family: tap a mosque to see whether it has a women’s prayer space or wheelchair access.
- Widen the corridor on motorways with few junctions or rural stretches.
- Set the next prayer on your Lock Screen: NearMasjid shows the next prayer time on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, so you can see how long you have.

Every mosque on your drive, in order
Plan Route turns a long journey into a list of prayer stops, from the start of your trip to the end, with the detour to each one.

Frequently asked questions
How is this different from searching “mosque near me” while driving?
A nearby search only shows what is around you right now, so you keep searching as you drive. Plan Route shows every mosque on the whole journey before you set off, in the order you will reach them.
What does the corridor mean?
It is how far from the road a mosque can be and still be listed. 1 km keeps detours short; 5 km finds more mosques on quiet stretches.
Can I use a postcode?
Yes. For example, SL4 1NJ (Windsor) to M14 5AA (Manchester) works, as do town names.
